Kinvera Capital LLC (“Kinvera” or the “Firm”), a private investment firm focused on lower middle-market, business services companies at the intersection of the physical and digital economies, announced the launch of the firm. Kinvera partners with founder-owned businesses and pursues a platform, buy and build approach across three sub-sectors: Professional Services, Digital Services, and Infrastructure Services. The Firm invests behind long-term themes within targeted sub-sectors of business services, with an emphasis on companies positioned to leverage both talent and next-generation technology to advance their capabilities.

Kinvera is founded by Justin Lipton, Managing Partner, who brings ~25 years of private equity experience in the lower middle-market, having previously served as Co-Head of Harvest Partners Ascend, Managing Partner of CIP Capital, and Principal at DLJ Merchant Banking. “We are building Kinvera to be the first institutional partner founders turn to when they’re ready to accelerate growth organically and through acquisitions,” said Justin Lipton. “We bring a balanced team of investors and operators to our partnerships, all with highly relevant services sector experience and a passion for working with lower middle-market companies.” The Firm pursues a platform, buy-and-build strategy, investing in founder-owned businesses with meaningful add-on acquisition opportunities. Kinvera’s team is supported by an intelligence layer built for the lower middle-market, spanning sourcing, relationship management, market research, diligence, portfolio monitoring and investor reporting. Kinvera leads with partnership-based values and a scalable institutional approach to investing, aiming to be a founder’s first investment partner and to assist management in their next phase of growth.

Kinvera targets businesses in North America generating $10 million to $50 million+ in revenue and $3 million – $10 million+ of EBITDA. Kinvera seeks to make equity investments of $15 million – $75 million+, typically acquiring a majority position with rollover and a conservative capital structure at closing.
